Quite happy with how this video came out. Nothing spectacular, but I feel it highlights some of the best moments of the series thus far. Definately paints a good picture of \the show, I think. I particularly like the main image for the video :P

Rock You Like A Hurricane
As a major supervillain organization, naturally here are those who would like to in some way, impair Coyle Command's attempts to conquer the world.
Primarily, there is COMMANDO.
Based from Sweden, COMMANDO has branches all over the planet, with its Enforcers ready to do combat with the Commander's evil hordes.
But of course, heroes aren't the only ones who despise the Commander, and death isn't likely to stop those who truly, truly wish to see him come to harm.
Of course we've seen tiny glimpses of Hurricane if you've watched some of my other videos, and COMMANDO has come up in conversation once or twice (Blitzer shot and killed an Enforcer in Turning The Cogs), but we're over a year in, and here we are, finally giving the good guys their introduction. This video has been in production for a while, but still, we took our sweet time...
Ultimately, pretty damn happy with the results. Its a bit choppier than intended, and the effects are somehow even worse than the low budget spectacle I had in mind, but hey, its there! It is finally there!
Forever.
A special thanks to Johnny Rocco, aka NVO, for the brief shot of the three Enforcers shooting at Sock. It just flies by, but I think it helped the scene feel more like a group of soldiers attacking, rather than one guy pretending to be lots of people. Appreciate it!

Metaverse Comparisons
The Metaverse, while in many ways unique, has obviously shown itself to borrow or copy elements from more well known superhero properties (Or properties in general, if CC is anything to go by). Often, we see characters that we admired, feared, or just liked the look of, and channel that a character, whether we intend to do so from the start or not.
I believe its important to stand out as your own thing, with your own ideas and mythos. However, comparing a character of element of your series to another series or story can often help give things a sense of scale or at least paint a picture of what you are going for.
I for one, have seen such comparisons in many Metaverse characters, and as such, am going to detail them below.
These are admittedly just how I see them, so if its completely against what you yourself have imagined, or I had nothing to say about you entirely...well, sorry.
Coyle Command-HYDRA/COBRA
This one should be pretty obvious, I think. I'd have just stuck with COBRA for this comparison, however HYDRA is probably more well known, thanks to its meddling in the Marvel Universe. You only really get glimpses of the scope I see for the organisation on the show, for obvious reasons of budget, but this sums it up quite well, I think.

New Villain Order-Legion Of Doom
A team of diverse villains with a shifting roster lead by one maniacal figure? Sounds about right. Admittedly they do not have the benefit of being made up of pre established villains, so perhaps they do not possess the same impact.
I want to say this also works for The Roaming Eye Of Doom, but I just feel that group has set itself up as something somewhat grander in scale.

Verbish-The Joker
Ironically not one of the many Jokers who grave the RLSV community, Verbish as a character operates on the same kind of level as the famed Clown Prince of Crime when at his best; walking the line between deranged serial killer, and nutty supervillain (at least if his desire to lift Shrewsbury into the sky are taken into account). While he doesn't dress like a clown, doesn't obsess over a man in tights and is a lot more stabby than schemey, both characters are driven by the simple fact that they enjoy what they do. Is it evil? Yes? Is it deranged? Yes. Is it fun? Definately.
They also both like knives.
They also both like knives.
Crimson Blur-Spider-Man
Betting you would have gone with The Flash for this, right? Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the Flash mythos, but I get more of a Spider-Man vibe when I watch The Quest. Not because of the costume or powers, of course, but thinking on Blur's position as a powerful, but young hero amongst older peers. He just seems to channel that same sort of Heart I see Spider-Man representing in his universe.
Apollo Hurricane-Captain America/Nick Fury
Oh wait, he hasn't shown up yet. Never mind!
Kavian Darkain-Thanos/Darkseid
This I really don't think Kavian was going for, but I can't help but veer into this direction when I think of the character. The Demon King, IE, a King of Demons, just sounds so intimidating, and coupled with his origin story of in fact influencing Satan's fall from heaven, basically conjures up the image of some kind of mad god (Or at least Demi God), and frankly that basically requires a powerful character.
This also fits with his effects on the Metaverse thus far, which have been admittedly somewhat minimal. He won't turn up at every major event, but when he does, RUN.

Who's That At The Door?
So, recently I've started drawing again. I used to draw a lot, but after a while I got tired of it. I'm not entirely sure why. I guess I just wanted to get feedbak or comments, and my website of choice (Flickr) was not exactly ideal (pictures I uploaded years ago still only have up to ten views overall).
However, now that I have a few more outlets, have signicantly improved AND learnt how to color these buggers, I'm really getting back into it!
And so here are two pages of Coyle Command humour, co-starring Hazmat Citizen Crusader, and a guest appearance by Agent B.

Turning The Cogs
Massive props to Simon for his acting as B here. If you ask him, I really doubt he'd have much nice to say about his performance, but I honestly think this was a good and surprisingly genuine performance for this kind of show; especially considering that I of all people wrote the dialogue.

Coymercial #10
Coyle Command does not in any way or form promote the practice of Satanism. We only preach the good word of the Commander, which is just as bad, if not worse, but not as controversial in the public eye.
Batteries not included.

WE'RE BACK/Mutinous Intentions
Given my short attention span and lack of ability, I would forgive you for thinking I had just stopped doing videos. As it is, however, that is not the case. For about one month, my computer for some reason had uninstalled a driver, making it impossible for me to open Movie Maker, letalone make a new video.
After some work and some investigation, however, the problem has been fixed and Coyle Command is back in business! To celebrate, here is a new video about mutiny in Poseidon's Vault.
HURRAAAAAAAAY!

Technical Difficulties and Oz Comic Con.
This information would probably have been good to release earlier, but given the complete lack of schedule on this show, I didn't exactly realize there was a problem for a while.
Coyle Command is now on a (hopefully) short term hiatus due to Graphics Card difficulties. While we have yet to receive some clips for upcoming episodes, our main problem at the moment is the simple fact that with the Graphics Card playing up, my computer will not let me access my editing software, which is somewhat important to making videos of this kind.
I hope to have this resolved within at least a months time, in order to release my usual video set for an upcoming convention. Though sadly I will not be attending as a Coyle Command character, as I have attended my last two conventions as Coyle Commander and Colonel Blitzer, respectively.
In any case, I hope to be back in business fairly soon. I don't spend every waking hour of the day filming or editing CC videos, but it feels almost physically uncomfortable knowing I just flat out can't O_o

The Return
Props to Simon for making this one of his own accord. Its not twelve minutes long, but I think this fits nicely with the more story oriented things I want to start doing, despite being made several months in advance.
We did plan to take out time in releasing this, to further the joke of his rather anticlimactic disappearance, deciding to release a different video first.
Due to Swedish weather being a better villain than I am, this hasn't been able to happen (It makes sense, trust me). I realize that it isn't exactly fair to force a friend's character off of the show, even if it serves a purpose, so I decided to stop beating around about it and released the darn thing.
Do try to enjoy.

Breaking Bat
The mysterious batfaced vigilante strikes again, catching Troopers off guard and pounding them into the ground through the veil of night. Tired of seeing his forces beaten and left for the authorities, The Commander decides to take a personal stance on the situation...
And thus we usher in a new era of Coyle Command!
Err, well, don't expect the series to be like this all the time, of course. Coymercials and other such stupidity shall still be frequent my Youtube, and you van bet there will be videos of Coyle Commander just sitting, talking to the camera. BUT from now on there will be some proper story telling beyond 'My assistant is a useless cyborg now' or 'We have Chrome Dome now.'
This episode, aside from being much more like a proper 'episode' also introduces two things I hope to make more use of in future.
1. The Commander's Explodium Sword, Krakatoa.
and
2. Coyle Troopers, the Commander's foot soldiers.
and
3. FIGHT SCENES!
I'll try not to go overboard in attempting them (especially considering the lack of people I have to 'fight' with, but the simple fact is I CAN have some action in these now. And that makes me a very happy person indeed.
